A destroyer is a fast and maneuverable warship intended to escort larger vessels in a fleet, convoy or battle group and defend them against attackers.Soviet Union produced the destroyers of project 7 (type Gnevny) and 7-U (type Storozhevoy), and also the destroyer leaders of projects 38 (type Minsk) 1 (type Leningrad).
